What do you want to be when you grow up?
Growing up my family would always ask, “what do you want to be when you grow up?”. My answer constantly changed through-out the years as I dreamed of doing the most insane jobs. After years of contemplating my career choices, I realized my passion for the medical field. I had an overwhelming amount of options in the field, yet I chose Flight Nursing. It was not until last year when a lifeline helicopter came to the highschool. The lifeline nurse and pilot talked to the class and that is when it hit me, that is what I wanted to do one day. Immedilatly I asked my teacher what I would have to do to become a Flight Nurse.
Maybe I was vulnerable to the medical field at a young age due to my mother. Two years down the road she was pregnant with me, while pursuing a degree. Shortly after I was born, she went to work at a Boot Camp for prisoners. Not only did she work with prisoners, she also worked with defax children. During her seven years at the Boot Camp she had went through a divorce, and remarried while fighting for custody of her daughters. After a year of marriage she became pregnant with my little sister. Suddenly, my mother dropped everything and decided that she would like to go back to school to become a registered nurse.

My family owned a camper that sat in the back yard of our double wide trailer. She dedicated her time to stay on top of her college homework. Even with my mother was tired she did not let that stop her. At times she slept in the camper later for her homework. During her studies she gave birth to my sister, now today she is nine years old. Not too long after my mom started school again to pursue her bachelors agree. Through the hard work and determination she finally made it. shortly after, my mother landed a job in the ER at Tanner medical. my mom worked a graveyard shift at the hospital to bust her butt for her family.
Overall I would definitely say mom mom is my inspiration. She is why I am successful in life and did not give up. My mother is determined to make me a better person and I couldn’t ask for anything better. My mom is a reason why am kind, caring, compassionate and have family morals.
